¹⁹ Then he measured the distance from the inner front of the lower gate to the outer front of the inner court,^[a] a hundred cubits on the east side and on the north side.^[b]

The North Gate

²⁰ As for ^(A)the gate that faced towards the north, belonging to ^(B)the outer court, he measured its length and its breadth. ²¹ Its ^(C)side rooms, three on either side, and its jambs and its vestibule were of the same size as those of ^(D)the first gate. Its length was ^(E)fifty cubits, and its breadth ^(F)twenty-five cubits.
